Supple with red fruit, red roses, and fresh orange, on the palate it offers fine tannins, a graceful, clean finish with a chalky texture, and a Burgundian aesthetic. The 2018 Barolo Via Nuova is fermented in steel and aged in oak according to time-tested local tradition. “The 2019 Barolo Gramolere (with 7,000 bottles made) shows a slightly sweeter and riper fruit profile. This wine comes from the village of Monforte d’Alba, which is known for more structured and powerful wines compared to Verduno (where this winery is based), which offers lighter, more floral wines instead. Gramolere shows dark fruit, plum and spice, but it also has a pretty mineral note of rust or iron. However, within this portfolio, this wine may well deliver the longest drinking window. Οινοποίηση

Nebbiolo 100%, με μέση ηλικία αμπελιών τα 30 χρόνια, από το Gramolere Cru που εκτείνεται κατά μήκος της πλαγιάς του λόφου από 370 έως 470 μέτρα πάνω από την επιφάνεια της θάλασσας. Η έκθεση είναι νότια/νοτιοδυτική και το έδαφος είναι ελαφρώς αμμώδης ασβεστόλιθος. Ανοίκει στον δήμο Castelleto στην Monforte d’Alba. Xειροποίητη συγκομιδή. Άμεση πίεση, ζύμωση και διαβροχή σε ανοξείδωτες δεξαμενές για περίπου 22-30 ημέρες, σε σταθερή θερμοκρασία 28 – 30 °C.

Ωρίμαση

Για 36 μήνες σε σε 2000L και 4000L Σλαβονικά και Γαλλικά δρύινα βαρέλια, 2 μήνες σε ανοξείδωτες δεξαμενές και τουλάχιστον 6 μήνες  στην φιάλη.

Μπορεί να παλαιώσει για 15-25 χρόνια.
