Γευστικά χαρακτηριστικά
Χρώμα μεσαίας έντασης ρουμπινί, με μοβ ανταύγες. Στη μύτη, αρώματα κόκκινων φρούτων όπως δαμάσκηνο και κεράσι, φυτικές νότες, κέδρος και πιπέρι. Στο στόμα γεμάτο, με άφθονη φρεσκάδα, τραγανό, με ώριμες τανίνες και μακρά ορυκτή επίγευση.
Οινοποίηση
Merlot 85%, Cabernet Franc 8% και Cabernet Sauvignon 7%, από 35χρονα αμπέλια, σε εδάφη που αποτελούνται από ένα λεπτό στρώμα πηλού πάνω σε ασβεστόλιθο. Ψυχρή προζυμωτική διαβροχή, ζύμωση σε ανοξείδωτες και δρύινες δεξαμενές, με διαβροχή για 2 έως 3 εβδομάδες. Pigeage και μηλογαλακτική σε βαρέλι.
Ωρίμαση
Για 16 μήνες σε γαλλικά δρύινα βαρέλια 500L και μεγαλύτερα (foudres) .
Μπορεί να βελτιώνεται για 10-30 χρόνια.
